This guide will walk you step by step through the process of adding a product to our e-shop. Followthe individual steps and start selling.<\/p>\n\n

Step 1: Create a product<\/h2>\n\n

After logging into the e-shop administration, go to the Products<\/strong> item in the left sidebar menu and then click on Add new product<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Step 2: Fill in the basic product information<\/h2>\n\n

Upload Product Image<\/h3>\n\n

At the top of the form, you will see the UPLOAD PRODUCT IMAGE<\/strong> area. Click in this area and select an image of your product from your computer.<\/p>\n\n

Enter Product Name<\/h3>\n\n

In the Product name\u2026<\/strong> field, enter the exact name under which you want to sell the product.<\/p>\n\n

Set the Price<\/h3>\n\n

In the Price<\/strong> section, fill in:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • Price<\/strong> \u2013 the base selling price in euros (\u20ac)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sale price<\/strong> \u2013 if you want the product to be sold at a discounted price<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Schedule<\/strong> \u2013 if you want the product to be sold at a discounted price during a specific period, click the blue Schedule<\/strong> link<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Select Category<\/h3>\n\n

    In the Category<\/strong> section, choose which category the product belongs to (e.g. Electronics). You can modify your selection by clicking the pencil icon.<\/p>\n\n

    Enter Short Product Description<\/h3>\n\n

    In the Short product description<\/strong> section (large text box), write a detailed description of your product \u2013 features, material, dimensions, benefits, and everything a customer should know.<\/p>\n\n

    This description is displayed in the catalog and on the product detail page next to the image on the right side.<\/p>\n\n

    Done<\/strong> \u2013 your product has been created. Now continue with the product settings in the next window that appears after clicking Create product<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

    Step 3: Guide to Detailed Product Settings in the Store<\/h2>\n\n

    Basic Product Information<\/h3>\n\n

    On this page, you will see the Name<\/strong> field \u2013 this is the full name of your product that you set in the previous step.<\/p>\n\n

    Edit Product URL<\/h3>\n\n

    In the Product URL<\/strong> section, you can edit your product\u2019s web address. If you want to change the URL, simply overwrite it.<\/p>\n\n

    Select Product Type<\/h3>\n\n

    In the Product type<\/strong> section, select the appropriate type:<\/p>\n\n

      \n
    • Simple<\/strong> \u2013 a standard physical or digital product (most commonly used)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Set Delivery Type<\/h3>\n\n

      In the Downloadable<\/strong> section, you decide whether the products are:<\/p>\n\n

        \n
      • Digital product<\/strong> \u2013 the customer downloads it after purchase (e.g. e-book, software)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Physical product<\/strong> \u2013 the customer picks it up or receives it by mail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Category, Price and Descriptions<\/h3>\n\n

        In the Category<\/strong> section, make sure the correct category is set (from the previous step).<\/p>\n\n

        In the Price<\/strong> section, verify the set price (from the previous step).<\/p>\n\n

        In the Short description<\/strong>, you can see the text you set earlier.<\/p>\n\n

        In the Description<\/strong>, there is a long product description that is displayed below the product in the e-shop.<\/p>\n\n

        Set Inventory \u2013 SKU<\/h3>\n\n

        In the Inventory<\/strong> section, enter the SKU (stock keeping unit) \u2013 it is the internal code of your product.<\/p>\n\n

        Stock Status<\/h3>\n\n

        In the Stock status<\/strong> section, select one option:<\/p>\n\n

          \n
        • In stock<\/strong> \u2013 the product is available<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Out of stock<\/strong> \u2013 the product is currently unavailable<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • On backorder<\/strong> \u2013 the customer can order it, and it will be delivered later<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          Inventory Management<\/h3>\n\n

          Check the Enable stock management<\/strong> box if you have a limited quantity of products in stock and want to track inventory.<\/p>\n\n

          Limit Order Quantity<\/h3>\n\n

          Check Enable only one quantity of this product per order<\/strong> if you want the customer to be able to order only 1 piece at a time.<\/p>\n\n

          Set Shipping<\/h3>\n\n

          Check This product requires shipping<\/strong> if it is a physical product (not a digital one).<\/p>\n\n

          If you checked it, you must fill in:<\/p>\n\n

            \n
          • Weight (kg)<\/strong> \u2013 the weight of the product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Length (cm)<\/strong> \u2013 the length of the package<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Width (cm)<\/strong> \u2013 the width of the package<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Height (cm)<\/strong> \u2013 the height of the package<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            This information is required by the courier company to calculate shipping.<\/p>\n\n

            Tax Status and Tax Rate<\/h3>\n\n

            In the Tax status<\/strong> section, select one option:<\/p>\n\n

              \n
            • Taxable<\/strong> \u2013 recommended for most products (VAT of 23% is calculated in Slovakia)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Shipping only<\/strong> \u2013 only shipping is taxed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • None<\/strong> \u2013 the product is not taxed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              In the Tax rate<\/strong> section, select the correct tax rate:<\/p>\n\n

                \n
              • Standard<\/strong> \u2013 23% (standard rate)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Reduced rate<\/strong> \u2013 19% (for certain products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Reduced rate<\/strong> \u2013 5% (for food, medicines, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                Product Status and Visibility<\/h3>\n\n

                In the Additional options section:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                In the Product status section, select:<\/p>\n\n

                  \n
                • Online<\/strong> \u2013 the product is visible to customers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Draft<\/strong> \u2013 the product is hidden (you are still working on it)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                  In the Visibility section, select:<\/p>\n\n

                    \n
                  • Visible<\/strong> \u2013 all customers can see it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Hidden<\/strong> \u2013 only you can see it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                    Order Note<\/h3>\n\n

                    In the Order note<\/strong> section, you can write a message that the customer will receive in the order email (e.g. “Thank you for your purchase!” or additional instructions).<\/p>\n\n

                    Enable Reviews<\/h3>\n\n

                    Check Enable product reviews<\/strong> if you want customers to be able to leave reviews and ratings for your product.<\/p>\n\n

                    Save Product<\/h3>\n\n

                    After filling in all fields, click the green Save product<\/strong> button in the bottom right corner.<\/p>\n\n

                    Done<\/strong> \u2013 your product is successfully set up and is visible in the e-shop. Customers can now browse and purchase it.<\/p>\n\n
